his professional career in 1979 as a software programmer for Honeywell Corporation's Process Control computer division in Phoenix, Arizona developing software systems that
control paper mills, oil refineries and electric utility plants. Mr. Scalone completed his tenure with Honeywell 10 years later as a Senior Systems Engineer for the
division's elite global post sales technical support group. He then took on the task of establishing and managing the hardware and software manufacturing quality assurance
departments for Hypercom, Inc. which led to the successful launch and market penetration of Hypercom's Point of Sale credit card transaction processing product line. After
Hypercom, Mr. Scalone accepted a Senior Engineering position in Motorola's Corporate Applications Engineering department where he designed and developed Motorola's worldwide
Intranet communications software systems.
