Sandy Lane Bookshelf Interactive DVD

The wonderful new Sandy Lane characters are back with four great interactive storybooks, the likes of which have never been seen before! Each of the books is centered around one of the four characters. All four stories are fully bilingual in English and Spanish. The user can toggle between languages on every page! It's a wonderful way to become familiar with another language!

Introducing Paco, Layla the Ladybug,
Jean Clawed the Pirate Crab, and Feebe!

Sprinkled throughout the pages are DIRECT-SELECT Effects that enhance the stories and take the stories to a whole new level. All four stories include silent and narrated versions. Narrated versions include a karaoke-style highlight to help your child follow along. The silent versions offer a great opportunity for you to read aloud to your child while he or she turns the pages and cues the effects found throughout the stories.

Feebe's Kitchen is cooking up fun in two levels of text that the young reader may choose from Feebe's Kitchen is actually two books with the same story, pictures, and effects. The difference is that one story is written very simply for beginning readers, and the other story has more advanced text. This allows the child to grow with the story.

Layla's Birthday Surprise facilitates participatory reading between the child and the narrator or an adult. The main text is at the bottom of the page, but simpler text appears in cartoon-style bubbles adjacent to the character Layla. The child is encouraged to read the bubbles. There is a button inside each bubble allowing the child to have the bubble read for them if they want.

Jean Clawed and the Lost Treasure Map allows your child to choose from four different paths that lead to four different outcomes.

Paco's Very Good Day is loaded with fun effects, several of which change each time you play them!
